Dinner & 'Queimada'
To mark the end of 2025, we have put together a special menu that draws on our Spanish roots. We have also dug out some special bottles to enjoy on the night. To top it all off, there will be an added Galician touch with a traditional 'queimada' - a Celtic tradition from north-west Spain that is part pagan ritual; part lament for absent friends. The ritual involves an alcoholic punch made from a Galician aguardiente flavoured with coffee beans, cinnamon and lemon peel - then set alight while a special incantation is read. Two sittings: 5.45-8pm and 8.15-10.30pm. (Note that dinner for the earlier sitting starts at 6.30 - the queimada will be at 5.45pm).
